Designed in 1932 by New Mexico's foremost architect, John Gaw Meem, the "Father of Santa Fe Style", Los Poblanos is located on an organic farm in the heart of the Rio Grande River Valley. A model of preservation and sustainability, the farm's vision helps shape the daily menu and handcrafted line of artisan products. An ideal setting for special events and retreats, the natural beauty and authentic hospitality of Los Poblanos create a truly memorable experience for guests.

The guest rooms and suites exhibit classic New Mexican style with original artwork, carved ceiling beams, hardwood floors and antique southwest furnishings. All bedrooms have luxurious bedding and feature our signature lavender spa amenities.

Reflecting the elegant beauty of the Territorial Revival style and John Gaw Meem’s original designs, these rooms feature beautiful views of the gardens, grounds and courtyards. Each room’s cozy furnishings were selected to compliment the historic charm. Rooms are in the relaxing and private Hacienda courtyard, or adjacent garden courtyard affording easy access to the public spaces of the Inn and property.

Rio Grande Valley Cuisine is rooted in seasonal organic ingredients from our own farm harvest as well as provisions sourced from longstanding relationships with local farmers and herdsmen. Los Poblanos cuisine wanders the line between refined and rugged, borrowing from both haute cuisine and the foods indigenous to New Mexico's Rio Grande River Valley.

Organic Farm

As part of their goal to preserve the agricultural history of Los Poblanos, a significant percentage of the property is dedicated to organic farming. The farming model is driven by sustainability - being a good steward to the land, architecture, culture and community. The commitment is expressed by growing ingredients organically, literally steps from the kitchen. Dedication to the agrarian past extends to preservation of our historic 1930s gardens and guests experience 25 acres of a unique and diverse landscape firsthand, creating a profound and authentic agritourism experience.
